  • Secured improvements for Channel View Road – work to begin in 2017
  • Saved the Grangetown Play Centre building and the continued service

Other Skills/Achievements

  • 2004 to 2008 while working for Cadwyn Housing Association
  • Set up and managed three private sector housing schemes for the homeless
  • CalonAdref – providing permanent housing for homeless families
  • CalonLettings – renamed CanDo lettings a letting agency to assist homeless individuals and families
  • Calon Temporary Accommodation
  • The three schemes collectively provided 400 homes for homeless families.
